Plai Laem Beach is in the North-Eastern part of Koh Samui near the airport with approximately 2.5 km in length. The Beach starts at the end of Bang Rak beach behind an isle Koh Fan, on which Big Buddha is seated. The area is more of the local and fisherman residence area by the end of the cape; however, guests can still find a good number of private beachfront villas. It is ideal for those who prefer privacy but can still access all Bangrak Market and Fisherman Village restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive.
